THE PROCESS

The process of addressing your immigration status is usually determined what country you are from and what your status was when you came in and what the status is now. If you came in as a visitor, please bring in all that paperwork. If you came into the country with permission, it is referred to as without papers. This is usually when the individual comes through the border. If this is the case, you will still need to bring all the paperwork you have here and your original country. If you are here with any other type of visa and want to change status you still need to bring in all your paperwork from here and country of origin. At this point you will be able to evaluate your course of action.
